June 2003

The Spark of an Industry

Founder Karen Jones launches Bubbles Bodywear. Frustrated by her own lack of curves, and by how few fashion options fit her properly, she invents the original butt lifter: Bum Lifting Bands. She soon files for a patent and keeps refining the design.

2004

The Website Launch

In early 2004 Karen hopped in her Honda and headed north, from Atlanta to the Carolinas, seeking our first mill partner. With a design/IT background, she built our original website herself, using Notepad and Photoshop. Our first order was placed in August of that year. It was a BIG moment! Soon after, we were featured in Daily Candy (the first and biggest daily fashion newsletter at the time).

2008

Introducing Ultra-Realistic Silicone

While imitators begin selling rigid, unrealistic or gimmicky padded panties, Bubbles Bodywear revolutionizes the market again by launching the Foxy Fanny line. This marks the introduction of ultra-realistic silicone pads that perfectly mimic natural body movement, bounce and feel. And to cater to the rise of body-con dresses and changing denim trends, we launch our now iconic BubbleBuns Padded Boyshorts, solidifying our place as the brand with the world's most versatile selection of cuts, rises, and colors.

2009

Vogue

Bubbles Bodywear receives our first major fashion magazine credit in French Vogue. Stylist Carine Roitfeld requested all the padded underwear we could send for the Sasha Pivovarova cover shoot. We were honored.

2011

Milestones

Karen is granted her first of 3 design patents. Meanwhile, the growing business needs more space, so Karen leaves her 1,000 square foot office in Atlanta to move back to her home state of Florida. After an enormous team effort, we open our current 21,000 sq ft Miami location on January 2, 2012.

2015

Stellar Growth

Sales were rapidly growing as Karen and her team embarked on the trade show circuit, worldwide expansion and growing the product line further with luxurious Seamless Shapewear. InStyle Magazine recommends our Retro Lace Waist Padded Shaper in an editorial about problem-solving fashion solutions.

2020

The Re-Brand

We began as Bubbles Bodywear, but our website has always been LoveMyBubbles.com. Customers kept telling us, in reviews and on the phone, “I love my Bubbles!” So in January 2020, we officially became Love My Bubbles.

Today (2026)

23 Years & The World's Largest Selection

Celebrating over two decades of small business independence. Today, Love My Bubbles operates out of Miami, Florida, offering over 35 proprietary padded shapewear designs plus dozens more problem-solving butt-lifters and bra accessories. We hold three issued patents and nearly 20 registered trademarks. While newer celebrity-backed or private-equity-owned brands may spend millions per month to market one or two generic styles, we remain committed to engineering precise solutions for just about every individual body type.
