Choosing a Material
Silicone
  • Silicone is soft and supple, resulting in a very realistic look and feel.
  • Silicone pads have very fine edges that mold well to the body, preventing the chances for pad outlines to be seen through snug-fit clothing styles.
  • Silicone is a premium material and will therefore cost more than foam.
Foam
  • Foam is lightweight and more economical than silicone.
  • Because foam is less malleable, it will protrude further from the body. So for the most dramatic projection, foam will be your best choice.
  • Our foam "Stickies" also feature a fabric layer (on the side that faces the body), so foam pads can feel more comfortable in hot weather.
  • While still somewhat soft and flexible, foam is not as supple or natural-feeling as silicone.
