More Helpful Shipping Details:
Please ensure that there is a secure area for packages to be left by the USPS or FEDEX in the event that no one is home to accept delivery. Please understand that we can not be responsible for items that are lost or stolen AFTER the Delivery Confirmation scan reports the items as "Delivered".
Merchandise is shipped in plain brown boxes, or white or red mailers. The return address reads "S&V LLC". There are no additional brand or logo markings on the packages (except for International packages which require company and contents details for customs purposes).
USPS requires that most orders to APO/FPO addresses be shipped using USPS First Class Mail.
Delivery Confirmation numbers are provided via email when items are shipped. Please be aware that SPAM blockers may prevent customers from receiving these emails (especially AOL).
Tracking numbers are provided for USPS and FEDEX Express Overnight shipments and Delivery Confirmation is used for USPS Standard and Priority Mail.
Please keep in mind that USPS Delivery Confirmation indicates when a package has been delivered but does not allow tracking during shipment.
When packages are left with the USPS there is no acceptance scan into the USPS system. The USPS acknowledges this on their website:
"The lack of an acceptance scan for E/DC packages has posed a customer-service problem for many shippers. While the USPS Web site will indicate when the shipper created the shipping label, there is no solid indication that the shipper actually transferred the package to the care of the USPS. This is most problematic for the package recipient - they have no firm evidence that the package is actually on its way, and the shipper can only provide their assurances that the package was indeed inducted on that day."
