Jeans Guide

Women of stature - we all want to be them, right? Elle McPherson, Heidi Klum, Naomi Cambell. But they may have at least one thing to complain about. Floods. Jeans that are too short. But never fear, there are brands and tricks to keep their - and your - heels covered.

THE DOs
  • It's perfectly acceptable to take the hem out of your jeans and let the fray show. To protect the jean from unraveling, avoid putting your jeans in the dryer. You can also try putting a thin layer of Dritz® Fray Check on the inside of the jean along the fray. It will help to "glue" the fibers together and prevent further shortening.
  • To accentuate your assets with sexy embellishments that maximize curves (but no Bedazzled jeans please!).
  • For the tall and skinny, round out your shape in pocketless, light-colored denim. The light color and lack of pockets accentuates size and shape.

    THE DONTs
  • Don't do a skinny tapered leg if you want to deaccentuate your height.
  • Steer clear of fitted clam-digger styles as they highlight a straight silhouette.
